The Xplorer 4000  is NAN Models largest plane and is a stretched version of the model that won the F3J WC in 2008. NAN didn’t just stretch the wing, the fuselage is much longer and a larger tail and fin helps balance the models handling. The wing section (NAN F3J) was designed by NAN Model themselves. It has a wing area of 86.7 dm2 and a flying weight between 2.0 -2.3 kg.

Although this model is big its handling remains responsive and precise. With its huge flap area, landings can be slowed to a crawl if necessary.

Standard construction is a full carbon wing with Carbon/Kevla 2.4GHz friendly fuselage and composite tails.
