Product Information

Capable of high speed aerobatics or gentle sloping. The model has full span ailerons and flaps which makes it highly manouverable. One benefit of having the flaps is to increase or decrease the camber of the wing which helps in thermals and speed runs. The model is light enough to fly on calmer days but is also at home in more windy conditions. Landing on the slope is made easy by setting up crow braking using both Flaps and ailerons.

The fuselage is constructed from glass/carbon/kevlar composites and is fully 2.4Ghz friendly. The two piece Carbon D-Box wing is easily removed for transport. In addition it also has two piece Composite V tails which make the whole model very easy to transport and store. Six servo's are required for full house control. Fuselage pushrods are pre-installed, and a few evenings work will have it ready to fly. The model comes with a full hardware pack.

"Having looked around for a two meter slope model I decided on the Alex XL, once I received it I was impressed straight away with the quality of finish and attention to detail. I started the build and had it ready to fly within a week. Its a very good looking model and I could not wait to get onto the slope. My first outing was in quiet windy condition but the model coped very well, it turns a fair speed when pushed and response from the controls are excellent. Once I got used to the handling I was able to throw is around much more. The large flaps really helped with landing on the slope. Overall I am very impressed and will be taking this little model on all my holidays!"
