Shadow is the latest F3J contest model in our range, with a wing span of just under 3.7m and a weight from 1950g ready to fly! With 74dm2 of wing area this model will out float the rest. The model handles extremly well and has the feel of a smaller span model. Construction is from moulded composites. The fuselage is constructed from super strong carbon/kevlar, and the wing has a carbon D-box centre section with Carbon D-box tips. It can be ordered with a full carbon wing if required. Wing profile is NH507m1, great for thermal duration with excellent launch and search capabilities. Accurate landings are possible with its large flaps and excellent handling at low air speeds. This model is a must have for those who prefer a V tail high performance F3J model. In the right hands another contest winner. New 2 piece removable V tail and available with a 2.4Ghz friendly fuselage if required.
