The 4M Xplorer ST Lite is NAN Models largest plane and is a stretched version of the model that won the F3J WC in 2008. NAN didn’t just stretch the wing, the fuselage is much longer and a larger tail and fin is also incorporated to balance the models handling. The wing section (NAN F3J) was designed by NAN Model themselves. It has a wing area of 86.7 dm2 and a flying weight between 1.9 -2.2 kg.

Although this model has a large wing span its handling remains responsive and precise. With its huge flap area, landings can be slowed to a crawl if necessary. Large wing spans are becoming more popular and the Xplorer is the ultimate 4m F3J Model.

The wing is manufactured from Spread Tow (ST) Carbon and is lighter and stronger than the normal full carbon version.

The kit includes a complete hardware pack and all you require is wiring and radio gear to complete it.
