The Nelly is a great model to start your first adventure into radio control glider flying. It is possible to launch the model by hand or with a light bunjee. With such a low all up weight it will climb in the lightest of thermals. A few evenings work will have you in the air very quickly. The fuselage is constructed from carbon/kevlar weave, the wing is carbon D-box construction covered with Oracover. The tails are moulded from comosite with carbon reinforcement. The wing is in two pieces for easy transport and bolts onto the fuselage.
