Fuselage

First you will need to install the tow hook. Care must be taken to measure carefully where it should be fitted. Work with an average CG of 103mm from the leading edge of the wing, the hook gives quite a bit of adjustment once installed. If you end up moving the CG further back or forwad you will have plenty of adjustment.

V & X Tail versions
From the nose, measure 535mm and make a mark on the bottom of the fuselage, this is where the centre of the hook will end up. The fixing screws for the hook are 53mm apart so make a 2 more marks either side of the first mark you made. Drill those holes using a 3mm drill, you can countersink them to accept the screw head. The slot for the hook adjustment can be up to 34mm long, you can make it shorter but this will give you less hook adjustment. Remember the centre point of the slot is the first mark you made at 535mm! Double check your measuments as an error here will cause big problems!! Use the picture below to help.
