Alex XL is a 2.1 meter slope model capable of high speed aerobatics. This is the X tail version. With full span ailerons and flaps the model is highly manouverable. It is light enough to fly on calm days and is also at home in windy conditions. By adding ballast it turns into a speed deamon! Landing is made easier with the use of flaps. The fuselage and wing are constructed from glass/carbon composites and the finish is excellent. It has a two piece wing and a removable two piece V tail for easy transport. The model requires six servo's for full control. Pushrods come pre-installed and a few evening work will have it ready to fly. Additional hardware is required to finsh the model (control surface horns and clevises, R/c equipment.) We can supply a ballast tube that can be fitted into the fuselage as an optional extra.
